The Bonner David Story
In 2002, “art lovers” Christi Bonner Manuelito and Clark David Olson embarked on a journey to create an “outside the box” gallery concept – and Bonner David was born.
As a thriving artist with a BFA, Christi herself has always felt a special connection with artists. Her background, combined with Clark’s love of art as both a collector and Master docent at the Phoenix Art Museum, make them a great match. Between them, they have over 45 years of collective experience in fine art.
Over the years, Christi and Clark have hand-picked a collection of traditional artists who capture their love of figurative, landscape, and realistic art, along with some of today’s most well-known and gifted contemporary artists.
We consider our principal purpose to be educating, encouraging, and expanding the appreciation of fine art. Art is extremely personal, and collecting is often prompted by emotion...whether a sensory response, a connection, a moment or memory, an appreciation for talent, or a meaningful experience.
Built on Relationships
We believe that art is truly about people and Bonner David operates with a different philosophy—focusing on the relationships with our artists, our employees, and importantly, with our collectors. We enjoy conversing about art, consider our artists our lifeblood and many of our clients are now our friends.
With this philosophy in mind, Clark and Christi brought their vision to reality and Bonner David enduringly became “A Whole Family of Fine Art.”
