Located in the heart of Manhattan, along Museum Mile, Bonner David Galleries has consistently provided a platform for both seasoned and up-and-coming artists to display their work in an architecturally significant space that fosters creativity and appreciation for the arts. “We are incredibly proud of everything we’ve achieved over the past five years,” said Rebecca Rosenfield, director and partner of Bonner David New York. “Weathering the pandemic, our goal has always been to create a space where artists and collectors can connect in a meaningful way. This anniversary is a celebration of the talent we’ve had the privilege of representing, and we are excited to continue our journey in this vibrant city.”

Bonner David Galleries presents Fifth Spring in the City, a celebration for artists and their patrons
(New York, NY) Bonner David New York is celebrating their fifth spring in the city with a special, curated exhibition of new works from the gallery’s stable of represented artists. Opening May 15 and continuing through June 21, this exhibition will highlight the gallery’s commitment to bringing diverse artistic visions to the forefront of the uptown art landscape as well as celebrating the creative energy that has defined the gallery’s first five years in New York City.
Bonner David New York will also host a special opening night reception Thursday, May 15 from 6 to 8 pm at the gallery, located at 22 E. 81st #1, just around the corner from the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
“It’s really wonderful being able to showcase so many of our artists together at one time,” says Rebecca Rosenfield, Director of the Bonner David New York. “It’s been a wonderful challenge to curate a cohesive show and being able to see how beautifully many of our artists hang together.”
Artists in the exhibition include David Michael Slonim, Michael Carson, John Schieffer, Francis Livingston, Tamara Hastie, Joe Lorusso, Robert LaDuke, Brad Aldridge, Romona Youngquist, Timothy Rees, Jane Jones, Cary Ennis, Gail Morris, Nathan Fischer, Rich Bowman, Jens Lorzensen, Estella Franzbergen, and Henry Stinson.
Schieffer, who has been with the gallery for almost twenty years, first in Scottsdale and now in the New York City location, will be exhibiting his highly detailed and unique paintings of marbles surrounded by white, negative spaces.
“I have been with Bonner David Galleries since 2006 at the beginning of my professional career,” says Schieffer. “Christi, Clark, and Rebecca are like family to me. It has been a true pleasure and I am so happy to be working with them now in New York City. I love the gallery space and location of the gallery. As you make your way through the interior the space opens up and is breathtaking. I am fortunate to have found new collectors there and the future is very exciting for me.”
Rosenfield also sees the exhibition as an opportunity to celebrate the relationship the gallery has created between the artists and the collectors who have taken this journey with them.
