Holly Wilson : Through The Lens
“My goal is to entice viewers to find connections between my own personal history and that of the Delaware Lenape people. In this way, my work is meant to be a balance between highly detailed intimate work based on the human form and the physical geography of my own home and studio.”
Bonner David Galleries is pleased to present Through the Lens, a new exhibition by contemporary Indigenous artist Holly Wilson, on view from March 5 to April 2 at Bonner David Galleries, Scottsdale. Opening during the weekend of the Heard Museum Indian Market and the Scottsdale Native Art Walk, the exhibition arrives at a dynamic moment for visiting collectors and art enthusiasts. Through the Lens explores how perspective and personal experience shape perception. Working in bronze, glass, encaustic, and paint, Wilson invites viewers to reconsider how reality is filtered and interpreted, creating works that balance atmosphere, emotion, and layered meaning.
Artist Reception Thursday, March 5th, 6-9 pm.
Location: Bonner David Scottsdale
7040 E. Main Street Scottsdale, AZ 85251
